Christine Koppes is a curator, art consultant, and writer who helps artists and institutions turn ideas into impactful exhibitions and experiences. She brings together artists, audiences, and communities through thoughtful storytelling, strategic guidance, and collaborative project management.

Based in the Bay Area, Christine works independently with artists and cultural organizations on curatorial strategy, writing, exhibition development, and community programming. Her approach is grounded in partnership: supporting artists in articulating their vision, navigating opportunities, and securing resources; and helping institutions shape compelling, well-organized exhibitions and public programs.

Christine has led curatorial and public initiatives at contemporary art museums and currently manages traveling exhibitions across the U.S., overseeing logistics, budgeting, timelines, and installation. She also advises artists on proposals, grants, and business practices, and writes accessible and resonant exhibition texts that speak to diverse audiences.

At the heart of her practice is a commitment to championing creative voices, centering lived experience, and building cultural spaces where curiosity and connection can thrive.
